You have a new sewing machine … now what? At A-Best, we want to set you up for success in caring for your new purchase. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or an experienced sewist, A-Best’s Sewing Machine Course 101 will help you get your machine set up and running.
In this first instructional class, you will learn how to setup your sewing machine, perform at-home routine maintenance and execute basic stitches. A-Best’s owner, Vern Hanson, will walk you through hands-on instruction and help your get familiar with your new sewing machine.
This is a 2-hour course, and the cost is $49. If you bought your machine from A-Best, use your instructional training voucher.
In Sewing Machine Setup & Maintenance, you will learn:
- How to clean and maintain your machine
- How to thread your machine and wind bobbins
- How your machine operates, including changing feet, changing needles and adjusting thread tension
- Sewing straight stitch and zig zag
