Join Our Beginner Embroidery Classes This Summer

A-Best education is excited to announce the rollout of two beginner embroidery classes this summer. Our sewing community is growing with many new sewists, so we’re designing classes to help you get into your embroidery design groove. We’ll have experts from our own sewing community covering Baby Lock, Brother and Janome embroidery machines.

Embroidery Class Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 10:30am – 12:30pm

Mon-Fri, 1:00pm – 3:00pm

If these time slots work for you, Click Here to purchase the class and our Event Coordinator will reach out to you.

Keep in mind, if these times don’t work, we will also offer limited classes on Saturdays, and evenings. One-On-One classes can be scheduled upon request. (One-On-One classes are an additional cost). Give us a call at 507-377-8244 or you can reach out to our Event Coordinator CC, at cc@myabest.com.

If you’ve recently purchased an embroidery machine from A-Best, or a combo sewing/embroidery machine, and want to learn more about these classes follow this link to share your information and our education coordinator will reach out to get you scheduled.

And if you bought your embroidery machine elsewhere, or adopted one from family or friends, that’s okay too. We’d love to have you join our A-Best sewing community! We have a large selection of Floriani embroidery thread, remember to browse through all the colors next time you stop in!

Register your interest here and we’ll contact you and get you scheduled.

Two classes will be offered for sewists who have purchased embroidery or sewing/embroidery combo machines. The first class will be a setup and maintenance class to help you get to know your machine and learn how to care for it. Plus, we’ll cover hoops, stabilizers, threads and other basics so that you can feel confidant using your new embroidery capability.

The second class will get into features and functions. You’ll get to know your machine’s embroidery power and learn how to program and sew designs.

By the time you leave the second class, you’ll be ready to tackle your own embroidery projects.

These classes are also great for our more experienced sewists who have purchased a new embroidery machine and want to brush up on their maintenance habits or review the basics.

Don’t miss out! Fill out the form to join the first beginner embroidery classes at A-Best Sew & Vac.

Sewists of all levels are welcome to attend these classes for Baby Lock, Brother and Janome embroidery basics. You’ll learn how to care for your machine, setup your embroidery projects and begin using embroidery designs.

Would be interested in the beginner classes. I need a refresher. Attendance would depend on scheduled date/time.

Hi Kathy, as of right now, we haven’t decided on dates/times for the beginner embroidery classes. We are asking everyone to fill out the form mentioned/linked in the blog so that we can get an idea of how many people are interested. CC, our Education Coordinator will reach out to everyone who completes the form to work out the rest of the details. Feel free to give us a call at 507-377-8244, or you can send CC an email at cc@myabest.com.

I have a 350 machine I have never used yet would like to learn how to use the embroidery machine.

    1. Christopher Penrod

Hi Marilee, I recommend that you send your information to CC, our Events Coordinator here at A-Best. Her email address is cc@myabest.com. She can work with you to plan out a class or a one on one session to help you out.

  3. Joyce Wagner

I have the skyline S9 and need help with it. Can do embroidering but need help with embroidering out paragraphs and importing designs to make a bigger design.

I’ve been chatting with CC about my Janome S9 and she knows I’m interested in learning the embroidery process. Just wanted to include myself in this list.
While I have sewn with my machine and figured out buttonholes, I am all also interested in taking “basics and advanced” classes. Thank you!

  5. Lena Heise

I’m very disappointed I’ve been trying to get this class since June and nothing seems to happen, why go through registering and and phone calls with cc. Why offer classes if you don’t plan on having them, yesterday was told maybe the end of August. I purchased a Janome S9 from them, I hope the maintenance service is better than the classes.

      Lena,

I apologize for the experience you’ve had to this point. This past year has forced many businesses to reorganize and re-invent themselves. A-Best is no exception.
We are dedicated to maintaining our exceptional service and education reputation. Our team is working closely with our available Instructors to build our new, in-person education classes since reopening our classroom.
We understand that your time is valuable and that you may not have time to wait for us to get our class schedule organized and finalized. Vern (Store Owner) or any one of my knowledgeable solutions consultants would be happy to help you personally in the interim while we work to get those instructors and classes to come together.
Please reach out to us at 507-377-8244 and we’d be happy to schedule a time to sit down with you and make sure you get the help you need.
